| This band has the blues growl
of Everlast, with the motion and feeling of an explosion.

... a band who's only desire is to create a
melting pot for their uniquely experimental words and music.
... Ya-Ne-Zniyoo is sure to get hearts pumping and creative
juices flowing. Through break-up, changes in the line-up and
over a decade of auditions, rehearsals and gigs, Ya-Ne-Zniyoo
remains true to its purpose: to create for the sake of the
art and not necessarily for the fame and fortune.

I had a dream I was playing patty-cake with
baby baboons.... no kiddin. What is that song about?
* Steve Falco of SoulFist May 2000
If you smell something, it's them 'cause they're
the shit.
* Daniel of Animal God
May Ya-Ne-Zniyoo gain success, although I hate
their music.
* Behind The Mirror - Athens, Greece
Kenyata Sullivan directed this band to contact
me...I'll have to have a few words with him (heh, heh) Anyway,
Ya-Ne-Zniyoo sent me a 5 song tape and bandzine and is my
head spinning. Strange music that is a style in its own. This
is a band with a musical vision. How to describe that vision
is a problem I'm working on. So, as I play their tape rather
loudly, you can write and get a copy for yourself.
* Paul Autry of The 1/2 Creeper - Shamokin, PA
I liked the tape but it made my kid cry.
* Robin Rarick - Paramus, NJ
I had to stop listening to it because I started twitching
in my sleep.
* John Rarick (Robin's Husband)
"The Dog Said" is a weird blast of thudding, ultra-loud,
dangerously-charged creep show rock with an interesting, ominous
beat and dramatically-bellowed psycho-babble vocals. Even
better is "Time Nightmare," which sounds like a
noisy, semi-gothic version of Catherine Wheel fronted by a
very drunk and extremely belligerent Glen Danzig.
* The Aquarian - Montclair, NJ
Sometimes it makes me eat pea soup. Ya, soup.
Hmmmm, soup. And beer. But not in the same glass.
* Mark Esposito - Washington, DC
A bit too experimental for my taste.
* Tony Fletcher - RCA Records
Neat Stuff. Very weird I might add. Couldn't
think of someone else to compare it to. Take care and keep
the faith.
* Dario Adamic of Zips and Chains - Roma Laurentino, Italy
I don't know a lot of things, but I do know
that this is some really cool stuff. Ya-Ne-Zniyoo effectively
marry poetic passion with some of the most wicked guitar sounds
this side of the Hudson. [They] certainly have soul for industrial
schoold sonic rockers and deserve skads of praise for another
mind-tingling, spine-snapping self produced release.
* The Aquarian - Montclair, NJ
I still think you scare small children. HA!
* Kenyata Sullivan - Wilmington, NC
